​徳島県海部郡牟岐町の沖合3.7キロに位置する出羽島、古くから漁業を生業として静かに時をかさみ、たたずんでいます、最近では高齢化が進み島民も年々減少する一方で28年前に神奈川県から来た私ですが、ここで何か出来る事がないかと思いこの度カフェをオープンする事になりました、このタイムスリップした島のゆっくりと流れる時間を美味しいコーヒーを飲みながら時間に捕らわれず、のんびり過ごしていただければ幸いです。大人の隠れ家

 Located in crystal clear water off the east coast of Shikoku, the tiny island of Teba Jima was once a center of Japanese longline tuna fishing that took its menfolk all over the world. Having sailed the Seven Seas, these men knew in their hearts that the gentle sea breeze, lapping waves, blue skies, abundant wildlife, and community spirit of their verdant isle was beyond compare.

 

With the decline of the tuna fishing, the passage of time slowed on our once bustling island.

 

Take the 15-minute ferry ride to Teba Jima today and you travel back to a time and place that no longer exists elsewhere if it ever did.
